​I have never met anyone, regardless of rating, who has not benefited from time with Corky.  In my twenty plus years of association with polo, Corky Linfoot is the one person I know who is able to explain and instruct totally.  May pros know the game, but are unable to articulate that knowledge understandably.  He knows the game inside and out.  He can break it down to the tiniest particle, and then put it back together in a way that allows the student to understand and utilize the information.  He can tell you how it should feel.  He can tell you how it should look.  He can tell you how it should sound.  If it had an odor, he could tell you that as well.  He is a suburb horseman.  He has studies the horses as well as he has studied the game.  He can analyze the horse and tell you why the horse can or cannot perform the function.  He is the consummate coach.  He has put as much work into coaching as he has every other aspect of the game.  One of the most admirable things about Corky is that he has not rested on his laurels.  He works at learning.  He never stops acquiring knowledge.  Plus, Corky is a really fun guy!
